This small publication for Heden in The Hague showcases a series of Inta Ruka’s portraits of her Latvian neighbours; to us, these evocative portraits seem to be frozen in time – maybe in the early 90s? – so we wanted the book to look like that too: a mix of innocent cluelessness and hopeful, new beginnings.
