William Hunt: Tempting Fate by Swimming Alone
This publication for performance artist William Hunt looks like a hard-bound “book”. But it is actually a large-format poster, folded in order to make the cumbersome and unexpected interaction with this object both visible and absurd, while subverting the concept of “a book”. A part of the artist’s exhibition, it was displayed in the gallery space alongside an electrical fan, which would turn on as the visitor interacted with it.
