Tomas Rajlich
For this small catalogue, the artist asked us two things: a simple look, and the proportions of his paintings to be kept. Rajlich’s paintings are rather big, we thought it was a rather misleading representation of his work to show it in “stamp size”, all the texture and detail would be eliminated in the reproductions.
We designed spreads that hold a full view of a painting or drawing, represented in proportional relation to the other artworks in the publication, alongside a detail of the painting reproduced in real size.
